Disabled Children's Fund

From Outcast to Accepted

Disabled children are considered outcasts in India. Some treat them like they are waste, and don’t like to touch them. Often parents will put them in a room and leave them to themselves.

But as Good Life staff has shown these precious children love and provided for their needs, parents have begun to value them more as well. Even their communities start to value them more.

As these children attend the local Good Life Club, it changes the way that other children relate to them as well.

Because of you, children with special needs are being cared for and accepted.

Providing medicines and a wheelchair for Danamaiah has not only provided for his physical needs but helped him to feel loved and valued.
