Her Name Means Happy But Her Life Was Hard

Her name means happy- but for years, her life held little of it.

At 75, she’s a widow who lost her husband ten years ago. Since then, she’s worked tirelessly as a daily laborer in the fields, raising her children alone. Now her children have moved to the city, searching for work. Even the one son who stayed eventually left. She hasn’t heard from him in a long time and doesn’t know where he is.

Then her eyesight began to fail. Her vision became blurry. Her eyes ached. She could no longer work, couldn’t afford treatment, and had no one to ask for help.

She felt forgotten. But then, something changed.

Because of your support, Good Life Ministries came to her village with a free Medical and Eye Camp.

She almost didn’t go—believing no one could help someone like her. But she did.

There, she was treated with kindness and care—and received a brand-new pair of eyeglasses, free of charge.

Today, she can see again. And happiness has returned.
