Finding Peace

My name is Mahesh. I was not living for the true living God. I served many idols. It would take me hours to complete my rituals. Though I spent many hours performing the rituals, still I had no peace in my life. I faced many struggles. I began drinking alcohol to cope and then became an alcoholic.

One day my brother shared with me about Jesus. He took me to a GLM meeting. I learned there that Jesus was the true God and could forgive my sins.

I went home and that night I asked Jesus to forgive my sins. From that moment I never had a desire to drink again.

My family and I are very happy for the freedom we have found in Jesus Christ.
